Warmth where you need it
Hydronic underfloor heating uses pipes laid beneath the floor surface. Warm water circulates through the system and the floor gently radiates heat into the rooms above.
Designed as part of the whole space
Hydronic systems are particularly well suited to new builds and larger areas where the floor construction can be planned from the start. A manifold distributes water to the circuits, and the heat source and thermostats are selected for the property.
- No visible wall-mounted heating equipment in the rooms

What to consider
The floor structure, insulation, pipe layout and heat source all affect performance. Imperial Heating says it pressure tests pipe circuits during installation and avoids joints beneath the floor where possible.
